The TECBLADE FLEX is a further improvement of our shovel STUBAI TECBLADE BASIC, which has already been certified `Best in the test´ by the magazine ALPIN (issue Feb. 2007).
The TECBLADE FLEX offers following advantages compared with the standard model:
- cover caps at shaft and handle to avoid intrusion of snow.
- grip strips at the shaft give even better hold.
- possible application as a hoe by switching function. Just insert the T-handle into the take-up of the shovel blade.
The weight is going up slightly to 750 g due to these improvements.
All other functions and dimensions correspond with the basic-model:
A hardened aluminium shovel with T-handle and 2-stage telescopic shaft. The shaft seat is integrated in the blade to help reduce space. The oval profile of the shaft increases both its strength and its performance. The flat blade and footplate on the shovel head make digging less exhausting. Holes specially cut for rescue techniques.
